After so many years of work, we were so happy and excited to launch Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF) through our online launch event, “Let’s Make Fundraising Less Racist!” which took place on Monday. During the event, we talked about how CCF was conceived, what our mission is, what our goals are, how you can get involved, and more. There’s a video recording of our event below, just in case you were unable to attend the event but wanted to check out some of our work so far and meet the current CCF team.

Register today for our July 24 webinar

Anna Rebecca Lopez

Next Friday at 12:30 p.m. PDT, we’re hosting a webinar, “Data Says! What BIPOC fundraisers have known for years …(and what the rest of us are only catching up to).”

It will be a chance to hang out with Anna Rebecca Lopez (she/they), who is principal evaluator at her own outfit, AR Lopez Consulting. She specializes in disaggregating data in a way that tells authentic and useful stories. Anna Rebecca has been working on gathering and interpreting data pulled from a survey of more than 2000 nonprofit professionals. On July 24, she will share insights on the different perspectives within nonprofit fundraising such as happiness levels, fundraising philosophies, how much social justice should be incorporated into the work, and more.

Consider donating to CCF!

Donations will go toward many things, one of which is helping us pay our content creators. You can donate via our fiscal sponsor, Seattle Parks Foundation.
