Thank you for this talk. When David said that he felt uncomfortable with authority, I realized that I too feel uncomfortable with and fearful of authority, not because I am a POC, but because of my gender and my sexual identity. I knew this but I’ve never really thought about it. I appreciate David’s way of sharing and his advocacy. It is sad that so many in our communities do not feel safe in situations that should be safe for us. Sigh.
