TICKETING
SLIDING SCALE TICKETS
CCF offers a sliding scale with suggested levels for participation in this event. Please take a moment to reflect as you decide on where you best fit. Your level of contribution is self-selected and doesn’t need to be advocated for. However, we invite you to remember this contribution is currency, and we ask you to stretch where you are able so that those who cannot stretch as far of a financial distance may also have potential access to community events. As you choose your rate, please consider the following factors:
- Your access to income and wealth, as connected to family and partnership, both currently and anticipated in the future.
- The historical, systemic impacts of wealth accrual based on culture, race, and other intersecting marginalizations for you and your family.
- The regional ease of your attendance. (i.e., while some community members can drive to the CCF Family Reunion, others will need to consider their registration amount based on their ability to travel longer distances.
- Whether or not your organization is able to pay for you to attend conferences or has an accessible professional development fund.
- If you have benefited professionally from our offerings (e.g. CCF Content Hub, previous trainings, etc.) and if you don’t normally give to CCF, consider how your ticket level can help to increase access to and knowledge of CCF more widely!
- Last year’s CCF Family Reunion did not bring in enough income to cover the costs, and we’d love to be able to meet our goal to break even for this year’s Family Reunion (maybe without dipping into our reserves)!
WHAT DO FEES GO TOWARD?
Fees go toward paying speakers, lunch, and all aspects of the overall production of the event. We will be paying speakers a stipend of $250-500 (depending on travel time).
SLIDING SCALE TIER LEVELS
My Cup Runneth Over — $225 Level (Full price)
This level is for folks who have access to wealth in the global context. These are folks who may not need to work full-time, or folks with access to generational wealth, or folks whose organizations are able to pay for them to attend conferences.
Financially Abundant —$175 Level
This level is for folks who are comfortable being able to meet all their basic needs and have expendable income. These are folks who are employed, who own their home or pay a mortgage, those with access to healthcare, and who can invest in their savings or retirement plans and afford to take a vacation. This may also be the level for folks whose organizations are able to pay for them to attend conferences, but may be small or mid-sized.
Financially Stable — $75 Level
This level is for folks who are fully employed, but may identify as working class. These folks meet their basic needs, may own or rent a home, and may have a small margin of expendable income.
Financially Coping — $35 Level
This level is for folks who are working class, under-employed, may have limited access to healthcare, or limitations to working full-time. These folks struggle to have expendable income and work to meet basic needs comfortably. This level is also for those who may be systemically disadvantaged.
Financially Strained and Systemically Disadvantaged — $0
This level is for those who are systemically disadvantaged; who do not or cannot own cars; who have no or very limited access to expendable income; no access to savings; are under-employed, unemployed, or unable to work; and those who do not have guaranteed access to long-term secure housing.
COVID Considerations
An in-person conference may elicit a wide range of feelings and reactions: joy and excitement at the prospect of reuniting with far-flung colleagues and friends, sadness for what we have lost, exhaustion that the pandemic continues, and trepidation for the risks we continue to face. These losses and risks have not been borne equally — with far greater harm done to BIPOC, indigenous, and disabled communities. In acknowledgement of the complex and various impacts of the pandemic, we aim to foster a culture of care for Family Reunion attendees. Together we can create a safer event for everyone, including our colleagues (and their loved ones) who are at greater risk of severe outcomes resulting from COVID infection.
Community-Centric Fundraising is committed to making our events inclusive and accessible. Mindful of their impact on our larger communities, we urge all 2026 Family Reunion participants join us in practicing the COVID and infectious disease precautions.
Are there any COVID-19 or infectious disease protocols?
Your health and safety while attending our event is our priority. We will adhere to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) COVID-19 Activities and Gatherings guidance and all protocols will remain subject to applicable laws, public health guidance, and related conditions at the time of the event.
Please note that we trust participants to adhere to these guidelines in good faith, and we will not ask attendees to show vaccination records or test results.
Prior to arriving on site:
Do not travel if you test positive, are symptomatic or have had an exposure to COVID-19 or any other illness that requires quarantine at the time of travel.
To provide another layer of protection, we encourage you to wear a mask during your travels to and within San Diego.
We encourage all attendees to be fully up-to-date on all available vaccinations.
On-site:
Masking is strongly encouraged. Free masks will be available at the Event Registration Desk throughout the day. We recommend you use a N95, KN95, or KF94 mask that covers your nose and mouth whenever indoors (including common spaces like halls, elevators, and stairwells), unless actively eating or drinking. Masks are not required, but significantly decrease the spread of COVID and other diseases. If someone asks you to wear a mask while engaging with them, please do so.
Hand sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the meeting space.
Disability Justice in Action:
Throughout the Family Reunion, including if you are offsite or in any common spaces and if you are in close proximity with another attendee wearing a mask, it is courteous to put one on as well—we should not put the burden of asking on those who are at-risk.
What if I feel ill while at the Family Reunion?
If you experience symptoms of COVID-19 (or other illnesses like a cold or the flu) while in San Diego, please stay home or in your hotel room and take a test (antigen or PCR) as soon as possible.
We appreciate everyone doing their part to help create a conference that feels safe and welcoming to as many of our members as possible.
