The CCF Rewind

This week, we have a cool announcement this week to share with you! But before we get to that, here’s what you should bookmark:

Fundraising should be like a polyamorous relationship
By Carlos García León

We love this essay! It’s such a creative articulation of community-centric fundraising principles that makes you go, “Oh, duh! Totally makes sense!” Carlos reminds us that life is not a romantic comedy and that, in fundraising, we shouldn’t strive to be ‘the one’ to our donors (like, we shouldn’t put them on pedestals and pretend like they are monogamous with us). We should really just be out in the open with the multitude of relationships we have and go forward with the understanding that there are various ways to ‘love’ one another, as fundraisers and as donors! Read Carlos’ essay please!

Big update time:

CCF is gonna go global
From Community-Centric Fundraising’s leadership team

This is a cool update about CCF’s future. We want to ensure that CCF’s reach continues to grow, and grow responsibly. This is something we’ve been working on for months now — and will continue to work on until it’s ready to be implemented. Please read and feel free to let us know what you think!
